J.O. has been conducting marketing, public relations, design and social media for Susan G. Komen Greater Fort Worth since 2007. In 2014, J.O. wanted to promote the Susan G. Komen For the Cure© in a new, exciting and bigger way in the Fort Worth community. J.O. decided to bridge together marketing efforts with Komen through the annual Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Goes PINK event bringing together THREE clients at once: Susan G. Komen For the Cure©, the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo and Worthington National Bank.

J.O. strategically capitalized on the celebration for each of our clients through creatively combining all of their social media and press connections in the promotion of the event. These ideas and solutions provided a uniquely successful and positive call-to-action that brought together our local community and three of J.O.’s clients at once.

Through J.O.’s planning this event reached a potential audience of 11,002,839 people and obtained more than $42,000 in advertising equivalency value leading up to and throughout the duration of the occasion. The event raised $20,160 and the FWSSR also donated half of their proceeds for admission and rodeo sales to Komen and encouraged visitors to wear pink as a community outreach effort.
