Creative. Public Relations. Marketing.
Goggle baby, Goggle baby, Goggle.

The lyrics of “wobble” have been stuck in my head all day and will probably be stuck in yours after you read this. No, not because I have found a new love for rap music, and no not because I have found a new hobby in line dancing. The song is catchy, if you’ve heard it you know what I mean.(Listen to the Wobble here)

After singing it all day, I have finally determined why it’s stuck so deeply in my brain. I’ll start with the background… this weekend J.O. will host a gallery viewing for two local artists during ArtsGoggle, the bi-annual arts festival held in Fort Worth’s Near Southside celebrating local art, artists and music.

Along with approximately 70 other businesses in the Near Southside, we will transform into an art gallery and will open our doors to the public and display work by artists Allie Regan, a Texas Christian University MFA candidate, and Marco Dickerson, an artist who has set on a journey of creating bird art for 365 days. Guests are invited to view art inside our recently renovated space, and take part in family friendly activities on the lawn where winners will receive Starbucks gift cards!

This morning during our weekly status meeting our team finalized details for Saturday; this is when the song first entered my brain. Simply replace the word “wobble” with “goggle” and there ya go, a perfect recipe for a catchy set of lyrics set on repeat for an entire day.

So, if anything good can come of my constant singing today, it’s a personal invitation to the J.O. ArtsGoggle. We will be “goggling” this Saturday from 4 p.m.- 10 p.m. and would love for you to join us!  Goggle baby, goggle baby, goggle baby, goggle.
